Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited (KUKL), Tripureshwor, Kathmandu Notice for Permanent Position Fulfillment through Internal Competition, Open and Inclusive Competitive Examination.

In accordance with Rule 11 of the Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited (KUKL) Employee Administration Regulations, 2064, and the responsibilities, duties, and rights of the Position Fulfillment Committee, as well as the decision No. 251 of the Public Service Commission dated 2080/03/28, the process has been approved to publish a notice inviting applications from eligible candidates for the relevant examinations, implementing the Commission’s decision on that date.

Based on the recommendation from the Ministry of Water Supply, as per their letter dated 2081/04/23, Ch. No. 65, and following the decision of the Position Fulfillment Committee dated 2081/4/23, applications are re-invited for the vacant positions listed below. Candidates who have acquired the required qualifications by 2080/4/21 and those who have previously applied do not need to reapply.

The application form can be downloaded from the company's website at www.kathmanduwater.org.and submit it along with the application.

The application form, with a passport-size photograph affixed to the designated space, along with certified copies of the educational qualifications obtained within the mentioned period, should be submitted to the Human Resource Development Branch of the company's main office, Tripureshwor, within 21 days of the date of re-publication of this notice.

The examination fee should be deposited in the current account No. 0201017501616 of Nabil Bank Limited in the name of this company, and two original copies of the voucher should be attached to the application.

Applications can be submitted within 7 days after the last date by paying double the fee. If the last date for submitting the application falls on a public holiday, the application can be submitted the next day.

Note:

Regarding Age:

-For Officer Level positions of 7th, 8th, and 9th grades, the candidate must have completed 21 years and not exceeded 40 years by 2080/4/21.

-For 6th-grade positions, the candidate must have completed 21 years and not exceeded 35 years.

-For Assistant Level positions, the candidate must have completed 18 years and not exceeded 35 years.

-For women and persons with disabilities, the age should not exceed 40 years by the specified date.

-Educational qualifications and experience must be acquired within the mentioned period.

-As per the provision of Rule 18 of this company's Employee Administration Regulations, 2064 (including the 10th amendment), there will be a probationary period.

-Salary scale and other benefits will be as per the prevailing regulations of this company.

-Examinations for each service group under open and inclusive competition will be conducted jointly at the same time in a single sitting.

-Candidates applying under the inclusive group must fill out the first page of the application form separately for each group as per the advertisement, but only one roll number and admit card will be provided.

-Candidates must clearly mention the details of the groups they are applying for in the prescribed format on the admit card. Otherwise, they will not be included in the examination.

-Candidates applying for more than one group need to submit only one copy of each required document.

-Candidates submitting the application must deposit the exam fee within the specified period and, within 7 days after the deadline, pay double the exam fee and submit the original voucher in two copies along with the application. Candidates applying under the inclusive category must pay an additional 50% of the exam fee for each inclusive group.

-Work Area: Within the operational area of Kathmandu Valley Drinking Water Limited.

-Additional Documents to be Submitted by Inclusive Candidates:

a. For Indigenous/Janajati candidates, the application will be accepted based on the list of castes listed under the Nepal Indigenous/Janajati Upliftment National Foundation Act. However, if there are multiple surnames within the caste listed under the Nepal Indigenous/Janajati Upliftment National Foundation Act, the candidate must obtain a certification from the Chief District Officer, based on a recommendation from the head of the concerned local body, stating the surname within the listed caste and submit it along with the application.

b. For Dalit candidates, the application will be accepted based on the list of castes listed by the National Dalit Commission. If there are multiple surnames within the caste listed by the National Dalit Commission, the candidate must obtain a certification from the Chief District Officer, based on a recommendation from the head of the concerned local body, stating the surname within the listed caste and submit it along with the application.

c. For Madhesi candidates, the application will be accepted based on a certificate issued by the institution designated by the Government of Nepal, as published in the Gazette, certifying the candidate as Madhesi. However, until an institution is designated by the Government of Nepal and published in the Gazette, the candidate must obtain a certification from the Chief District Officer of the concerned local body and submit it along with the application.

Candidates must manually fill in their citizenship certificate number and the district of issuance in the admit card section of the application form.

All written examinations for all positions will be conducted by the Public Service Commission.
